The external trigger with two shock sensors connects to the Control Unit and to the Add-on Acquisiton Unit. It is used to detect the instant in which seismic waves are generated from the wave sources (hammers). Two sensors are provided for independent deployment on two different sources, which is common when S and P wave sources are separate.
