The Dummy cone tip is combined with a seismic module when only seismic measurements are of interest and not the DMT. Such configuration is recommended, to avoid risking a DMT blade when its measurements are not required. The dummy cone tip may be connected to a seismic module with the monolithic or Prolub configuration.

Important Note: When connecting the dummy cone tip  to a seismic module, the Prolub’s terminal male must be connected properly to the corresponding female on the cone, ensuring electrical contact of the joint and air tightness.
