The Control Unit contains valves and pressure gauges necessary to perform DMT measurements. A USB connection with a laptop computer (not included) enables the automatic acquisition of DMT pressure readings and to record seismic waves using an SDMT probe. The DMT readings may also be taken manually from the pressure gauges, without the need of a computer.
