This version of the SPDMT probe is the most flexible for performing Vs and Vp measurments, as it may be combined with a DMT blade or with a dummy cone tip. The Prolub, which is a short pneumatic electric cable with both pneumatic and electric connectors, enables to change the tip (DMT or dummy cone) connected to the seismic module. The Prolub must be handled with extreme care, because if it damages the probe must be shipped to the manufacturer for repair. The fragility of the Prolub is the price for the flexibility of changing the tip connected to the seismic module.

Important Note: Before rotating the tip (DMT blade or dummy cone) with respect to the seismic module, the electric red and black male connectors of the Prolub must be disconnected. If not, the Prolub will damage after a few turns of the tip and the SPDMT probe must be shipped to the manufacturer for repair.
