The DMT Startup set contains the minimum set of components for dilatometer testing down to 30 m of soil depth: one blade, the latest version of the dual gage Control Unit for automatic logging of DMT readings, one pneumatic-electric cable of 34 m, 5 Membranes and other components strictly necessary for test execution. This set is adequate for a few experimental tests, to gain initial confidence with the DMT equipment. The items for upgrading to a standard DMT set may be ordered later on. This DMT Startup set is not recommended for professional use, where the limited amount of spare parts may cause interruption of the test campaign.
