About Dmt Dissip

Dmt Dissip is a Windows program for input and elaboration of "DmtA" Dissipation data. 

It may be installed on any Windows platform (95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, XP).

Information on test execution and correlations for the coefficient of consolidation ch and coefficient of permeability kh may be found in section 8.0 and 11.4 of:

    "The DMT in Soil Investigations", A Report by the ISSMGE Committee TC16 (2001)

Microsoft Word is necessary for obtaining printable reports.

Input The guided input checks the inserted data and signals possible anomalies. It generates *.dis files.

Elaboration The user selects a group from the *.dis files in memory. For each test of the currently selected group the user can visualize:

  1. Test  data
  2. Dissipation curves with interpreted ch and kh (see EXAMPLE)
A key feature of Dmt Dissip is "Autoreport". It generates, without user's intervention, a Word doc Report, including Dissipation curves (the scales are chosen automatically) and test data.

Dmt Dissip can also generate the *.tst files for analysing the mathematical interpretation steps.

Input Units can be Metric or SI.

Supports A4 and Letter (USA) paper format.
